We are pleased to let you know that in August the team saw 6,014 souls make decisions for Christ. It seems that the team is back in full swing, at least for now. Pray that they will be able to continue at full capacity.
Recently, in the nation where we are working, the team took a step back and decided that the nationals could no longer travel from province to province, (state to state). This will restrict some of the outreaches, but most should be able to continue. Difficulties remain with getting food / supplies. Lines are still blocks long at times and waiting for food / supplies can take hours or even days.
In the US, as you travel through many towns, the largest buildings are churches. The US went through a tremendous revival that began in the 1800s and ended in the early to mid-1900s. That revival seemed to wane or slow down when prayer and Bible reading was taken out of the public schools in 1962/1963. The church continued to be impacted as the introduction of technology was introduced. People no longer seemed to have the same time for God and the church. However, these large churches proclaim the historical evidence of revival and Christian growth in America.
The closed country that we are working in has been in revival for 2 decades. Church growth has been remarkable. However, with the introduction of cell phones / technology in this nation where people used to gather in the parks and churches to fellowship, they are now sitting in the local parks to be on their phones and they gather in local cafes to be on the internet. Although this seems harmless, this could be a big distraction from God and the church growth that is taking place there. Pray that the revival doors that have been opened remain open and that the work / revival that is taking place would continue. Believe with us for a continued victory in this nation for Christ!! Psalms 2:8 “If you would ask, I would give you the nations as your inheritance.”
