A Clear Conscience

Hey everyone, just wanted to share a quick message that I came across from a devotional this morning.

Psalms 32:2 says “Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of guilt, whose lives are lived in complete honesty!”

We know that Jesus takes away our guilt and shame and brings us joy- but how is this possible if we aren’t real with ourselves ? We must be completely honest with ourselves and God in order to live freely. Too often we hide from our sins by failing to recognize them and avoid correcting them. We try to cover them up and put on a facade to make others think we are strong and don’t struggle with sin, just like everybody else. This is a bad a practice. We must learn to acknowledge our sins, work towards correcting our actions and be transparent so that others can see Jesus in us and working on us.

Nobody is perfect but thankfully we serve a God Who is !
