God’s Word Accomplished

Hey everyone! Just wanted to hop on here and share a devotional with you all that comes from the book of Isaiah.

Isaiah 55:11 “so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

In this verse, Jesus explains that his word will not return to him empty until it accomplishes the purpose that he gave to it. If Jesus is the word, that dwells in us, this means that all of his promises will be accomplished according to his word, and will not return to the Father until we accomplish all that he has called for us to do! Amen!

God has a plan for us all, and he has promised to carry out his perfect plan for all of our lives. If you are having trouble seeing God’s plan for your life right now, stand firm in patience, and refer to this verse in Isaiah, knowing that everything that God says is true, and that he is not done with you.

I hope everyone has a blessed Labor Day weekend!
