Loving Others

Hey everyone, just wanted to share a quick message with you !

When we hear the word debt we think of things that we owe and are able to/ need to pay off- college loans, credit card debt, car loans, mortgages, etc. As Christians we a have a debt that we will never be able to pay off.

In Romans 13:8, Paul describes this debt and emphasizes that we will never be able to pay it off. This debt is our duty as Christians, to love ALL others.

Romans 13:8- NLT: “Owe nothing to anyone–except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law.”

If we fulfill this debt of loving ALL others then we fulfill God’s Law. Loving all others isn’t as easy to practice as it is to say. People have differing opinions we may not agree with, they may have wronged you in the past, or somehow caused you hurt- this makes loving ALL others difficult. A good way to help with this difficulty is pray that God helps us to see others the way Jesus saw them- worthy of grace and forgiveness.

Practice seeing others the way Jesus saw them and remember that Jesus is God’s opinion of ALL of us.

Have a blessed day !
