Tearing Down Idols
Hi everyone! This devotional blessed me and I hope that it does the same for you! 1 John 5:21 We can make an idol out of just about anything or anyone. It could be a spouse, a child, a good friend, something you own, your home, or your career. When anything becomes more important to us than God, who always deserves first place in our lives, we must aggressively deal with it; we must put it back where it belongs. For example, if it happens to be your career, you would be better off to change careers if keeping the one you have means it takes you away from God.…

We Will Remember
“We will remember every rescuer who died in honor. We will remember every family that lives in grief. We will remember…” ~George W. Bush

God’s Word Accomplished
Hey everyone! Just wanted to hop on here and share a devotional with you all that comes from the book of Isaiah. Isaiah 55:11 “so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” In this verse, Jesus explains that his word will not return to him empty until it accomplishes the purpose that he gave to it. If Jesus is the word, that dwells in us, this means that all of his promises will be accomplished according to his word, and will not return to the Father…

Praying For Afghanistan
“At the moment we are praying desperately for friends on the ground in the house church movement in Afghanistan where the Taliban are coming after all Christians. Their courage is immense – most expect to meet Jesus face-to-face in the next two weeks. It is a powerful reminder right now of what matters – and making every opportunity count for eternity.” ~Christine Caine

Trust For Envy
Hey everyone, I wanted to share a quick message today. Ever look at others and wonder why they have things we don’t or look at sinners and wonder why they seem to prosper ? God warns us to be careful not to envy others in Proverbs 23:17. “Don’t envy sinners but always continue to fear the Lord.” We need to trust that God has placed us in our own unique circumstances and lives so that only we can tell our story and use our stories to point others towards God. Avoid envy and trust that God makes all things right and will use our lives to draw others to Him…

Lakota Missions
We ask that you would pray for us this week as we travel to the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota to minister and serve the people there. Pray for hearts to be softened and lives to be changed. Pray for the safety and health of our team and for grace to cover all aspects of travel and ministry. Pray for the youth that are serving with us, that their lives would be impacted and they would experience the joy that comes from serving others. We’re blessed to have you all standing with us.

A Clear Conscience
Hey everyone, just wanted to share a quick message that I came across from a devotional this morning. Psalms 32:2 says “Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of guilt, whose lives are lived in complete honesty!” We know that Jesus takes away our guilt and shame and brings us joy- but how is this possible if we aren’t real with ourselves ? We must be completely honest with ourselves and God in order to live freely. Too often we hide from our sins by failing to recognize them and avoid correcting them. We try to cover them up and put on a facade to make…

Genuine Contentment
Good morning guys! I was blessed by this devotional today and I hope that you are as well! True contentment is determined by our attitude and responses rather than by our circumstances. And because the apostle Paul had learned this secret, he was able to experience joy and peace in any kind of situation. The apostle understood what it meant to live in Christ and to have Christ living in him (John 15:1-9) He knew that the treasure he possessed within could never be stolen. And that gave Paul confidence in his identity as a child of God, with full access to the abundant life that Jesus offers. Today, when…

The Giants You Face
Hello Everyone! Just wanted to share a message that has been on my heart lately. 1 John 4:4 “The Lord is greater than the giants you face” What a wonderful verse to live by! God’s love is greater than every evil force in this world combined. No matter what battles you are fighting, just remember that Jesus always wins! God’s power and love is greater than anything thrown at us by the enemy, and all we have to do is call on the name of the Lord, and put our faith in him. He will always be right there with us, to carry us through our struggles! God bless you…
