April 2026 Newsletter Update

Dear Partners and Friends,

We pray you are doing well as you continue to serve the Lord and walk in His will.

The ministry is moving forward in a powerful way. To God’s glory, there is much to share this month — new resources, answered prayers, and lives being changed around the world.

Discipleship Training Coming to Cambodia

Discipleship and Church Planting training for presbyters and leaders in Cambodia will be launching soon. We need to send $1,200 so the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God there can purchase a computer, video screen, and the necessary media equipment to conduct the trainings via Zoom. Please let us know if you are able to contribute to this project.

Church Planting Manual Now Available

Will’s church planting instruction manual — based on the house church model — has now been posted on our website. This model is currently being used in five districts in Cuba, and is also being implemented in Cambodia and beginning in Brazil. We thank God for bringing us to this point.

The manual is currently being translated into Spanish, Portuguese, and Khmer so it can be used more effectively in church planting efforts around the world.

Testimonies from the Streets of Cuba

God is moving in remarkable ways through our evangelists in Cuba. Here are just two of the stories we received this month:

An alcoholic woman walked in from the street during a service and was set free. The church rejoices to now see her restored and in her right mind.

While ministering in the streets, Yunieski preached to a group of young men from a troubled neighborhood. They opened their hearts, received Jesus as Lord and Savior, and were given Bibles.

Upcoming Mission Trips

Could God be calling you to go? We have two trips forming this year — one international and one domestic. Both are open for registration now.

Brazil — July 10–19, 2026

Cost: $2,800 per person

During this trip, we plan to plant three to five house churches in partnership with local leaders who are already seeing God move.

  • First meeting: April 12 at the Bridges for Life Ministries office (or via Zoom) — first payment of $1,400 due
  • Second meeting: May 17 — final payment of $1,400 due

Southern West Virginia — August 9–15, 2026

Cost: $900 per person

This domestic trip will include community outreaches and a light construction project. No passport required — but expect your heart to be changed.

You may sign up for either mission trip through our website or by emailing us directly. Not able to travel? You can still be part of it — pray for the teams or consider sponsoring a participant.

Other Ways to Give and Get Involved

Pakistan — Bibles for a Growing Congregation

We have connected with a pastor in Pakistan who leads a growing church of both children and adults. He is seeking to purchase Bibles for his congregation. We would like to send $400–$500 to help meet this need. Please let us know if you would like to contribute.

Media and Video Production Volunteer Needed

The ministry is seeking someone skilled in video production and media content creation to help with online posts and communications. Our website has recently been rebuilt, and we would welcome assistance in this area. If this describes you or someone you know, please reach out.

We pray God’s richest blessings upon you and your family. Thank you for walking alongside us in this work.

With gratitude,
