December 2025 Newsletter Update

We had another productive month. Our team traveled to Southern West Virginia to conduct outreach in several remote Appalachian communities. During the trip, the team:

  • Built a railing for a wheelchair ramp for the mayor of one of the towns
  • Poured a concrete pad
  • Hosted children’s outreach events
  • Distributed reading glasses to local residents

Several people made decisions for Christ during this outreach. Photos are enclosed.

Global Mission Highlights:

  • Cuba: Our work in Cuba continues to bear fruit. The 58 evangelists there saw more than 3,000 people make decisions for Christ.
  • Cambodia: One of our newer mission fields now has three evangelists/church planters on the ground. Last month, they saw 56 decisions for Christ.

Prayer Needs & Upcoming Travel:

Cuba is currently recovering from a recent hurricane in the eastern region and is also battling an epidemic similar to Dengue Fever. Many are sick, and some have passed away. I had planned to visit in December, but at the team’s request, I’ve postponed the trip. Instead, I will travel to Cambodia in January to continue the work there.

Training & Church Construction:

In January and February, we will conduct leadership training for church leaders so they can effectively follow up with new believers. We are also exploring opportunities for church construction. Please pray that the necessary finances come in to support these efforts.

Brazil Follow-Up & Discipleship:

Our partners in Brazil, whom we worked with this past July, continue to follow up with those who made decisions for Christ. Currently:

  • Six discipleship groups have been established
  • Leaders are actively walking with each group
  • After two months of discipleship, each group will decide whether to join a local church or continue as a house church

A photo of the leaders doing follow-up is enclosed.

Homeless Ministry Update:

Ben Sligh will now be overseeing the Homeless Ministry outreach. I will continue to have some oversight, but anyone interested in participating should contact Ben or Maylin at the office.

This outreach began nearly 18 years ago, and over the years we’ve seen several individuals get off the streets. Currently:

  • One individual is in rehab through our efforts
  • A couple of individuals have reunited with their families

This ministry remains a powerful expression of God’s love as we work to rescue sons and daughters from addiction. Please pray for continued effectiveness and even greater impact. A photo of some of the individuals we are reaching is enclosed.

We pray God’s richest blessings on you and your family during the holiday season. Please continue to pray for us as we work to advance the Gospel among the nations. If you feel led to get more involved—through prayer, giving, or joining a future team—please reach out to us through our website.

Blessings,
Will & Cristen
