September 2025 Missions Update

Partners and friends—thank you for praying, giving, and standing with us. This month we’re celebrating what God is doing through your support and sharing several ways you can get involved in upcoming outreach opportunities.

South Dakota Outreach: Backpacks & the Gospel

We sent a small team to south-central South Dakota to serve Sioux Indian children living on a reservation considered one of the poorest counties in the United States. The team delivered 350+ backpacks, provided meals, and shared the Gospel. The need remains tremendous, and we are prayerfully exploring continued partnership and follow-up trips.

Upcoming: Appalachian Outreach (McDowell County, WV)

We’re returning to McDowell County—another of the poorest counties in our nation—where we partner with a Vietnam veteran and local leaders to serve families in need.

Trip Details

  • Dates: October 23–26 (4 days)
  • Focus: Evangelism, Medical Outreach, and a possible light construction project
  • Cost: $480 per person (with van transportation from Pittsburgh) or $450 if you provide your own transportation

Testimony: Raquel Corrales, Evangelist in Cuba

Raquel Corrales, one of our evangelists in Cuba, is a powerful witness to God’s healing and freedom. As a child, she suffered paralysis and, amid fear and confusion, became entangled in occult practices. Years later, in 2003, Raquel encountered Jesus, surrendered her life to Him, and the convulsions that plagued her stopped the very next day. She learned to read using the Bible and was baptized in 2004. Since then, she has devoted her life to evangelism, chaplaincy, missions, and children’s ministry.

Ministry Projects in Cuba: How You Can Help

Orphanage Launch: Phase 1 Funding

An evangelist we support is launching an orphanage. Phase 1 establishes a small store to generate ongoing revenue for the project. We’re believing for $5,000 to start this first phase. Every gift helps move this vision forward.

Transportation for Discipleship Teams

In the mountainous regions of Cuba, electric bicycles are a practical, cost-effective tool for evangelists and Discipleship Coordinators. Each e-bike costs about $500 and directly expands ministry reach to remote communities.

To contribute toward the orphanage or e-bikes, please reach out to our team for giving options.

Skilled Volunteers Needed: Drywall & Finishing

If you’re a drywaller or drywall finisher, we’d love your help on upcoming projects. Donating your time and skills is a meaningful way to invest in missions work and bless communities in need.

Pray With Us

  • For wisdom, protection, and open doors for the Gospel
  • For new ministry partners and financial provision
  • For the South Dakota community, McDowell County families, and our Cuba teams

We’re grateful for you. May God’s richest blessings be on you and your family this month. Together, we are impacting lives—here and across the nations.

Blessings,
