NOVEMBER 2023 NEWSLETTER

Partners and Friends,

Greetings in Jesus name!!!  A team just returned from Southern West Virginia completing our Appalachian Missions Project. There we were able to help a Vietnam Vet for our 4^th endeavor.   We had previously helped Donald by supplying him with running water, first time in 3 years he had running water.  (He had taken bucket baths from the past 3 years.)  It was our honor to help Donald again, the team put on a new front porch roof for him, put a window in, and supplied a heat/wall furnace for his kitchen and bathroom. 

Our group also painted a church that is being used for an outreach center as well as painted their playground and trimmed their stage in the sanctuary. We also conducted outreaches in some of the villages in McDowell County. 

The team continues to expand where we are reaching with our neighbors to the South.  They saw 7907 souls make decisions for Christ! Hallelujah!   And we are getting better and better at following them up to pursue them for discipleship. We are putting together a plan for us to spread more towards the Central / Central Western districts, as we also endeavor to develop our discipleship program there. 

The ministry will be having our annual ministry banquet on Sunday, December 3^rd at 11:30 am following the morning service at Christian Assembly Church in Industry, PA.  If you have a home church, we encourage you to attend, and then join us afterwards if you live close. 

The ministry has posted its upcoming mission trips for 2024. The first one will be to Thailand in South East Asia. Tentative dates are March 4^th to March 14^th. Evening outreaches, village crusades and other evangelistic endeavors will be conducted. The cost is $3250 per person, the first half installment of $1625 is due November 1^st, 2023, and the second half installment is due December 15^th, 2023.

We are also offering 3 different options to the Appalachians in Southern West Virginia. The dates are: June 10^th to June 16^th; June 17^th to June 23^rd and October 14^th to October 20^th (tentative dates). The team will be conducting evening outreaches, ministry to children in foster care and light construction projects for people in need. The cost is $1200 per person, each trip. The first half installment of $600 is due March 1^st, 2024, and the second half installment is due April 15^th, 2024. If you can only make the weekend (Friday to Sunday) in those dates, then the cost is $375 per person, each trip.

We also have other Group Summer Mission Trips for 2024. One is currently scheduled to Guatemala. Tentative dates are July 5^th to July 12^th. Evening outreaches in villages and other evangelistic endeavors will be conducted as well as light construction where there are specific needs. The cost is $2000 per person, the first half installment of $1000 is due March 1^st, 2024 and the second half installment is due April 15^th, 2024.

Our last Summer Mission Trip is an opportunity to minister in the Sioux Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Tentative dates are August 4^th to August 11^th. Children’s outreaches and light construction projects will be developed also. The cost is $2150 per person, the first half installment of $1075 is due April 1^st, 2024 and the second half installment is due May 15^th, 2024.
